It’s that time of the month again! On Wednesday, November 26, the teams at both e-giving Powered by NCS Services and NCS Solutions dressed down and donated to take part in our monthly NCS Gives Back program. This program is just one of the many ways that we at e-giving Powered by NCS Services continue our mission to help those who make a difference.

This month, Vicki West won our charity drawing. We’re happy to announce that her choice for the organization to benefit from our NCS Gives Back program is The Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute.

Established in 1985, The Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute is the leading resource dedicated to helping people from around the world with end-stage organ failure. Through their efforts, this amazing organization strives to place a strong emphasis on the advancement of basic science and clinically applied research, and the teaching and training of multinational specialists. Despite their efforts to care for some of the most medically compromised patients, The Starzl Transplantation Institute has managed to maintain notable patient survival rates.

Focusing on liver transplantation, kidney and pancreas transplantation, and intestinal and multi-organ transplantation, The Starzl Transplantation Institute boasts a trail-blazing history of conquering one of transplantations biggest challenges – rejection. In the future, The Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute is working to further their success by solving the issue surrounding the lack of viable donors.

All employees were invited to participate in our program with a minimum donation of $5 contributed through our e-giving platform. This month, through our combined efforts during our team fundraiser we were able to gather $120 dollars. When coupled with the company match, we will be able to send a total of $240 to benefit the mission of this wonderful organization. There is no greater feeling than helping those who will in turn help others, and we’re excited to continue our efforts in the months to come. Thank you for sharing this exciting news with us!
